I Either Swim Or I Drown
May. 28th, 2005 09:57 amLess than twelve hours since my phone call to Telus to report my problem, my connection to the Internet seems to be running at capacity again. Let me say now, "Hallelujah!" Makes me wonder what would've happened if I'd made that call last Friday, before we left for the long weekend. Oh, well. Now all I need is for my tax refund to come in so we can hire an exterminator to take care of our wasp problem.
In other news, the forces of nostalgia have apparently built up and reconciled me to yet another song from the 80's that I formerly hated. This time it's Wang Chung's "Everybody Have Fun Tonight". I seriously hated this song when it first came out, but upon listening to the "Everybody Wang Chung Tonight" compilation, I discovered that I can stand it again, and in fact kinda like it. At the time I think I was opposed, in general, to party songs. As far as I can tell, I still hate "Fight For Your Right To Party", though, so all is not lost or gained.
