merde, an interesting and yet simple meme: Who on your LJ friendslist have you known the longest?
In my case, it's no contest--clintono. Most of the others date back to my days on Usenet, which started in 1992--folks from talk.bizarre, alt.callahans, or alt.pub.dragons-inn that I have never met in the flesh. The rest are mostly local LJers that I've met at meetups, with a few others from NaNoWriMo. But only clintono has known me since high school.
He's probably still trapped in the world of Star Wars online RPG, though...
