Hey, I'm still around. I just ended up not having time to write my NaNoWriMo novel and keep up with my LiveJournal. Well, I suppose I probably did, but I decided I'd rather fritter away my non-novel-writing time in other ways. I do get like that.
I did finish my novel, or, rather, I got past 50,000 words by the end of the month. The novel is not, as it were, "finished". I'm trying a more modest 10,000 word quota for December, of which I've gotten about 1800 done. I'm not worried, though. At the NaNoWriMo rate I was doing, I could start on Boxing Day and finish 10,000 words by the end of the month. But I'm trying to integrate continued writing gradually into my routine. Which is hard because I don't really have a routine, but at least I'm doing it. I mean, this is 1800 words more than I've written in most months of my life.
Anyway, I did a new blog entry talking about some of the books I've read since my last blog entry. I might blog again this month, even.
